MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL BOARD MEETING OF THE
ZION-BENTON PUBLIC LIBRARY DISTRICT
July 29, 2014

President George Andersson called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m.

ROLL CALL: Present: Wendy Driver, Yadira Guzman, Mary Martin, Beverly Mull, Stephanie Smith*, and George Andersson. Absent: Matthew St. Cyr. Staff present: Tara Caldara and Elsie Martinez. Visitors present: Tom Rich, Tom Rich Consulting.

AGENDA: Mr. Andersson presented the agenda.
Motion: Mr. Andersson moved to adopt the agenda as presented. Second: Mrs. Mull. Roll Call: Aye: Driver, Guzman, Martin, Mull, and Andersson. Nay: -0-. Abstain: -0-. Motion carried.

* Mrs. Smith entered at 6:05 p.m.

EXECUTIVE SESSION: Motion: Mrs. Driver moved to enter into Executive Session, in accordance with 5 ILCS 120/2 (c)(1) with Tara Caldara, Elsie Martinez and Tom Rich in attendance. Second: Mrs. Mull. Roll Call: Aye: Driver, Guzman, Martin, Mull, Smith, and Andersson. Nay: -0-. Abstain: -0-. Motion carried.

The board reconvened in open session at 7:50 p.m.

Ms. Caldara updated trustees on new requirements with the Group Health Insurance Benefits.

ADJOURNMENT: Motion: Mrs. Guzman moved to adjourn the meeting. Second: Mrs. Driver. Roll Call: Aye: Driver, Guzman, Martin, Mull, Smith, and Andersson. Nay: -0-. Abstain: -0-. Motion carried.
