Do you enjoy engaging with people of all ages and especially youth? Can you keep your cool and think on your feet in any situation? Do you have a gift for identifying tense situations and turning them into positive customer service experiences? If you answered yes, then ZB Library is looking for you! We seek a positive, authoritative person to fill a part time security monitor position. This is a 13-18 hours per week position, with after school, evening and Saturday hours. Pay is $11-$13/hour depending on qualifications.

Our makerspace is now The Sandbox! The Sandbox is a place where you can create, explore, and do. No matter what your skill set, The Sandbox will support your creative process, expand your mind, allow you to explore new technologies and do-it-yourself projects. We have a wide range of materials and supplies available to use during our programs, including engineering kits, arts and craft supplies, robotics, a 3D printer, and a sewing machine. For information on the 3D printer and sewing machines, please call The Sandbox staff at 847.872.4680, ext. 119.

Programs in The Sandbox are designated for the following age groups: Kids (grades 3-6), Teens (grades 7-12), and adults (18 and up). Please use the online calendar for specific dates and ages.
