Meeting Rooms and Community Tables

In order to book a Meeting Room or Community Table, you first have to create an account. Click here to create an account. You’ll need to provide your First Name, Last Name, Email, Password, and Phone Number. Once you create your account, you will receive a confirmation email. After you open the confirmation email, you can then log in and add your organization and request a reservation.

Bulletin Boards

  • Designated staff members will coordinate and approve all items for display.
  • Items will be displayed as time and space allow.
  • Items may be altered to accommodate available space.
  • Items submitted for display will not be returned.

Community Table

  • Is available for use by individuals or groups to provide information, raise funds, or showcase a business.
  • Applications must be made using the library’s online reservation system.
  • Applications can be made 24 hours to three months in advance.
  • Only two active reservations per patron/organization allowed at any given time.
  • The library will provide one table and two chairs.
  • The individual/group may provide table cover and a tabletop sign. All items and displays must be on top of the table and may not interfere with sight lines.
  • The table must be adequately staffed.
  • No sales permitted.
  • Community Table use may not  interfere with the activities of the library.

Exhibits and Displays

  • Designated staff members will coordinate and approve all items for exhibit or display.
  • If an owner does not dismantle a display by or on a predetermined date, library staff will dismantle and store items.
  • Items not retrieved within thirty days after the end of a display will be disposed of.

Grounds

  • Permission for special use of the grounds may be granted by the Director.

Group Study Rooms

  • Are available for use by individuals or groups to the capacity of the study room.
    • Youth Services Group Study Room – 4, Adult Services Group Study Rooms – 6,
      Genealogy Group Study Room – 4
  • Study rooms may be used for a period of up to two hours.
  • Reservations for a specific time and day can be made at either the adult or youth service desks.
  • A reservation may be made up to one week in advance.

Meeting Rooms

  • Are available for use by groups to the capacity of the room, with a minimum of seven attendees.
    • Meeting Room A – 48, Meeting Room B – 46, Meeting Room AB – 110
  • Groups may use facilities up to four times during any three month period.
  • Applications must be made using the library’s online reservation system.
  • Applications can be made 24 hours to three months in advance.
  • Meeting Room use may not  interfere with the activities of the library.
  • If you need assistance with making a reservation, please call the library at 847.872.4680.
  • All meetings must be free of charge and open to the public, regardless of whether or not
    someone wishing to attend is a member of the sponsoring organization or group. Non-members may
    be informed of the nature of the meeting but may not be excluded if they wish to remain. No
    admission fees, attendance fees, registration fees, etc., may be collected.
