Hosah Park – Zion’s Best-kept Secret!

Most people do not know that Hosah Park is one of the highest-quality natural areas in Illinois. Over 200 native species of plants and 159 species of birds have been identified from Hosah! Enjoy an overview of Hosah’s history, starting with the native Americans who explored this area, to its special spiritual purpose by Zion’s founder, John Dowie, up to the present moment, where continued erosion has impacted much of the recreational beach. Hosah is a very special place!

Color & Shape Explorations!

Make learning colors and shapes fun when you play games all centered around sorting and matching. The games are all easy to make at home with items and toys you have around the house. Information about developmental milestones for children birth to 5 years and the Early Intervention program will be available. Staff from Early Intervention will be able to answer questions you may have about their program.
