Do you want to learn how to play Dungeons and Dragons or need a refresher? This program is for beginners. You will learn how to create a character and how to play a game in a group with a DM (Dungeon Master). Lunch and snacks will be served. Please email dabron@zblibrary.org with any food restrictions. You will leave with a free bag of dice.
There will be two sessions:
12-2pm: How to Play DND in a Group
2-2:30pm: Snack Break
2:30-5pm: Character Creation
Need a relaxing, artistic outlet? Join us for an evening of creativity, conversation, and hot beverages! Coloring pages, markers, crayons, and colored pencils will be provided, although you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

Have you ever wondered what happens at the library after closing? We will share our secret world with your stuffed animal friends at our Stuffed Animal Sleepover.
Wednesday, March 29th from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, drop your stuffed animal off at the Youth Services desk.
Thursday morning from 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM, stop by and pick up your stuffed animal, have a snack, see a slideshow of what the stuffed animals were did at night.
Bring in an old pair of Crocs to personalize with paint or gems. If you don’t have Crocs, you can get an inexpensive pair of Crocs like shoes at Walmart or Five Below.
Spruce up your bookshelves with new books! You will be able to choose YA/teen books of all genres for FREE. You will get a free bag and other goodies and you may choose five brand new books (no old discarded library books). Stop in any time between noon-6pm. A teen must be present during the event (grades 6-12).
Teens may get an extra free book of they follow zbteens on instagram or Discard.

The information in this Notice applies to candidates for Library Trustee at the Consolidated Election scheduled for April 4, 2023.
Library Trustee Candidates may file candidate petitions at the Zion-Benton Public Library, 2400 Gabriel Avenue, Zion, Illinois on the following dates and times:
Monday December 12, 2022 through Thursday, December 15, 2022 between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.;
Monday December 19, 2022 between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Do you think you’re a gamer? Are you into RPG games like “Elder Scrolls”, “Final Fantasy” or “Fallout”? Are you inspired by the vibrant, fantasy world and epic adventures of Tolkien’s “Lord of the Rings”? Then come play Dungeons and Dragons, the role playing game that defines the genre and has set the standard for fantasy role playing.
Both new gamers and veteran adventurers are welcome!
