NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given by the Zion-Benton Public Library District in the City of Zion, County of Lake, State of Illinois, that a tentative budget and appropriation of said library for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2025 is on file and conveniently available for public inspection at the Library’s Circulation Desk, 2400 Gabriel Ave., Zion, IL 60099.

Notice is hereby further given that a public hearing on said budget will be held at 6:30 p.m. on August 26, 2025 in the Zion-Benton Public Library.

Teen Snack & Games

Hang out in the Teen Space, play some games, and have a snack. Check the schedule for upcoming snack days!

 

Calling all teens, grades 6-12, come hang out in the Teen Space, play some games, & enjoy a snack. This is a passive activity where you can come or go as you please.

The following games are always available to be played in the Teen Space (they are in the bins under the TV)

Board Games available: (Players & estimated play time)

Apples to Apples (4-8 players 20 min)

Bilingual Storytime / Hora de Cuentos Bilingüe Preescolar

Check out our calendar to see upcoming storytimes!

Let’s get together for storytime in Spanish and English! We’ll share bilingual songs and books. Storytime will be held in the preschool area of Youth Services. Afterwards, children and their caregivers are invited to join us for a playdate. This program is designed for ages 0-6.

¡Reunámonos para la hora del cuento en español e inglés! Compartiremos canciones y libros bilingües. La hora del cuento se llevará a cabo en el área preescolar de Servicios Juveniles. Después, se invita a los niños y a sus cuidadores a unirse a nosotros para una cita de juego. Este programa está diseñado para niños de 0 a 6 años.
